Homeless Food Run

The aim of this event is to provide basic food and water to those in need and those without shelter within the centre of London.

THE PLAN:
The Meeting Point is at Shepherds Bush Gurdwara/Sikh Temple, at 5:30-6pm.

Here we will collectively prepare the food packs and organise groups to head out to various locations to distribute the food packs.

Please be punctual and arrive on time, it is vital we begin the food preparations promptly to enable us enough time to distribute (if you can’t arrive early enough to help prepare the packs, you can still assist in the distribution…’Every Little Helps’!)

We are aiming to create food packs with the following basic food items:

? Cheese, Pickle and Lettuce Sandwich
? 1 or 2 pieces of fruit
? Bottle of water
? Carton of Juice

If you would like to contribute please come along with your choice of the following: –

? Confectionary
? Crisps
? Biscuits
? Fruit

Please also bring a rucksack or a bag to carry the food packs from the Temple.

After the food run we will reconvene within Central (location will be given on the day) after we have completed distribution. As a thank you to everyone we would like to head out for a post victory meal/drinks!
