July 28, 2011

Interfaith Seminar : Manus ke jat sabhai eka paichanbo (Recognise all humanity as one)

Guru Nanak proclaimed and revealed the truth about one and only one eternal creator of this universe, whose name is true, is Omnipresent is without fear, enmity or hatred, formless and eternal and came into existence on his own and can be realised only by Guru?s Grace. He was there before time, exists in the present and will always there in the future. The salvation in His domain depends on one?s deeds performed with humility, love and peace and not on one?s caste, colour, creed, power, status or religious labels.

The tenth master reiterating the ideology of Guru Nanak, Guru Gobind Singh created The Khalsa from amongst people belonging to different faiths and by administration of holy nectar instilled in them the virtues of compassion, truthfulness, righteousness, courage and leadership thus reshaping the history by putting an end to the continued injustice, tyranny and exploitation by the Muslim ruler Aurangzeb upholding righteousness and restoration of human dignity and freedom. Unique identity of five K?s (the articles of faith) were bestowed upon them as an essential part of Khalsa uniform so as to stand out as a model of great humility, integrity, high moral character and spirituality.
