FREECrawley Youth Project – Brent Sikh Centre
The Brent Sikh Centre has engaged with the local Sikh community in Brent and Harrow by setting up a Football Club.? By encouraging the youth to get involved with Sport the Gurdwara has attracted a larger number of students and professionals to get involved with all areas of the community to create a an educational and active environment. The aim is to encourage and engage the youth in sporting activities which brings the community together.
Training is on Thursday evenings with competitions and friendly?s taking place on some Weekends. The aim is also to have a Tuesday training slot in the near future. Recently the team competed in the local Anu-Raj British heart foundation cup to come runners up in the competition.
As well as the Brent Sikh Football Club, we also provide free coaching sessions for boys and girls aged from 7 years and above on Sundays between 1:30pm to 2:30pm.
On Friday 22nd April, the BSC Football team will be playing against Crawley Gurudwara, followed by a Sikhi programme organised by the Crawley Youth Project. For more details, please see the attached flyer.
