* Dance : Bharatanatyam Puja Allepalli

One of the most prominent Indian Classical dancers and choreographers of her generation settled in Denver USA, Puja Allepalli has been trained under the legendary Guru Adyar K Lakshman in the Kalakshetra style, which is characterized by traditional purity, grace and vigour. Her guru in abhinaya is Bragha Bessel, a quintessential Bharatanatyam exponent. Puja?s training began at the age of four under Guru Ratnam Janardhanan in the Vazhuvoor bani which adds elegance and grace to her dance. At the age of sixteen, Puja took the centre stage for many prominent dance festivals in Central and North India.

Puja enriches her performances with evocative emotions blended with crisp movements encompassing clean geometric lines, perfect hand gestures and brisk footwork that translate music into movement. Her dance is uncompromisingly classical that seamlessly flows resulting in a perfect body-mind-soul communion which transcends cultures and languages.
