Having established in various sporting activities it was but natural to have a tournament . The first such tournament was held in 1979 at the Hayes Stadium in Judge Heath Lane, Hayes. The success of this tournament prompted it to become an annual event.
It attracts participation from many Sports Clubs and sporting individuals from all over the country and clubs from London, Walsall, Birmingham, Brighton, Leeds etc make it a must to attend.
At the tournament the sporting events Karate, Hockey, Badminton, Football, Cricket and Squash are open to all. Personalities and dignitaries of the sporting world have attended this tournament and commended us in its organisation and control.

Kata competition for all white/red belts will be one round to determine 1st, 2nd
& 3rd places.
For all yellow/purple & white belts there will be two rounds where the top 50%
will perform a second different kata and the accumulated scores will determine
1st,2nd & 3rd places. For all senior grades there will be three rounds
where the top 50% will perform a second different kata and the top three
contestants will perform a third different kata. The scores for each round will
be accumulated to determine 1st,2nd & 3rd places.
In the event of a draw the scores from the previous round/s will be considered.
WKF based rules for kumite.? Bouts will be 1? minutes in duration for junior grades and 2 minutes for senior grades. Referees
decisions will be final. Trophies will be awarded for 1st, 2nd and joint 3rd places. Gum shields and red/blue gloves are compulsory. Groin guards and shin pads are optional. Women body shields are recommended.
For all under 16 events light contact to the body will be permitted, no face
contact with punches will be scored, and excessive contact to either area will
be penalised. Touch contact will be scored for good technical kicks to the
jodan area. For all over 16 events light contact with both punches and kicks
will be permitted.

under 16, if you do not wish your child to be included in photographs for the website please advise.
