* Sarbat LGBT Sikh – 1st Birthday Celebrations

The Sarbat Social events will be celebrating their first birthday this spring, and to mark the occasion as well as Vaisakhi (the Sikh New Year), we have some special events in store.

The first event will be taking place on Saturday 9th April 2011, and it will be at the British Museum in central London followed by a birthday lunch nearby later in the afternoon. Here are the details for the day:

  • 2pm SHARP ? Meeting outside the main entrance to the British Museum, Great Russell Street, London WC1B 3DG, followed by an exclusive talk by our esteemed guests Paramjit Singh and Gurbaksh Singh on the subject of the Sikh Fortress Turban (the current exhbition in their Objects in Focus series) ? please?click here if you would like to find out more about the exhibition,
  • 3.30pm onwards ? our celebratory lunch at First Out Cafe, 52 St Giles High Street, WC2H 8LH
